The library park

At the same time as the city library was built (from 1920 until 1928) a park was arranged next to the area. The surroundings are quite nice as the busy Sveastreet is seen to the right and a nice hillside filled with threes is on the left.
The waterfilled concretepool is just a couple of feet deep and is usually empty in the early spring and late autumn making it a popular place for skateboarders and rollerbladers.

In any case it´s a quite nice place to rest with a new book =)

Alex, it does seem like a great place to lounge and read.

Hey, this week at Seattle Daily Photo is NORDIC WEEK, and I've linked to your site today because I'm saluting Stockholm and other Nordic cities. I hope you can stop by .
